Kyoto – Rohnert Park’s Hidden Sushi Gem

In an unsuspecting building, hides one of my favorite places for sushi…Kyoto Sushi of Rohnert Park. Friends of my family own Kyoto, and we have been frequenting Kyoto for many years…many many years now that I think about it. The atmosphere is great, the service is fast and friendly, the sake is top notch, and the sushi is even better. Kyoto offers some of the finest sushi in Sonoma County…we actually do not know of a better sushi restaurant in the area, so it is not a stretch to say Kyoto offers the best sushi in Sonoma County.
Kyoto Sushi is great for dining in, and take out as well. Kyoto’s popularity make reservations a good idea on weekend evenings, especially for larger parties, as it is a local favorite of many people. I believe that a sign of a quality restaurant is a packed house of loyal customers? If a packed house of loyal customers is a good sign of a quality restaurant, then Kyoto Sushi is a high quality restaurant. We often see many of our local friends whenever we go to Kyoto, and it is definitely due to the great sushi at Kyoto.
Kyoto has a wide and varied sushi-centric menu, and some of our favorites are listed below. We hope you find our favorites to be enjoyable, and find some favorites of your own!

Wakame salad (seaweed…this may sound odd if you have never tried it, but this is a MUST to start any meal at Kyoto)

Kyoto Sushi is one of my favorite local sushi places for lunch and dinner. Be sure to stop by and sample their sushi, tempura, sashimi, sake, and unique Japanese inspired décor. Even though we recommended and highlighted a few things above, we have never had a bad meal at Kyoto. We would recommend the entire menu, but we have not tried everything…just know we are genuine when we say we have only had great food there.
Kyoto of Rohnert Park is easy to get to. Kyoto is located near the corner of Expressway and Commerce (1 block from Highway 101) in the Padre Town Center. The physical address at:
