Reaching For The Sky

This picture was taken on a recent nature walk. Sometimes I like to just get out and walk…no not Forrest Gump he just felt like running…I just like to see nature and get some exercise.
Nothing is more natural than a huge tower in the middle of a pretty area. I know I know, this is all for social advancement, however sometimes these seem like they are in the worst places.
On the contrary I do enjoy industrial design, and found this to be a really intriguing structure. Lots of steel, and lots of land area under the base. I have no idea how tall it was…I was estimating 185 feet by counting the number of levels along the tower.
One surprising thing…there seemed to be more to the support structure than to the actual tower…or is the support structure part of the tower?
I am not even sure if this is a radio tower antenna or a cell phone tower. I think a cell phone tower has receivers attached to it…and this does not appear to.
In any event, I thought this was an interesting picture…maybe we should all be reminded to Reach For The Sky!
