Petaluma Market is West Petaluma’s favorite local grocery store. I know there will be plenty of people who write me an email on this one…Whole Foods has a strong following, Trader Joe’s in East Petaluma also has a loyal fan base, and then there are the big box grocery stores like Safeway who offers very competitive prices. But…if we had to choose one market to shop at in Petaluma, we would choose Petaluma Market.
Petaluma Market offers:
- Fresh made hot and cold foods
- Local food selection, including produce, wine and cheese
- Large wine selection (including a section just for ports)
- Artisan cheese station to pair with your wine selection
- Full meat and seafood selections
- Fresh organic and conventional produce
- Weekly sales on select items
We will leave it at that, and not discuss the shortcomings of the competition.
Petaluma Market has been around since 1987, and has been a West Petaluma landmark ever since.
Petaluma Market also offers a 10% discount EACH Thursday for shoppers who are at least 55 years young. If I were 55, I’d only be shopping one day a week!
Petaluma Market is open Monday through Sunday from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
