Inspiration Is Everywhere !

Most of the great ones have acted on some type of inspiration. Some in a quest to be great, others to overcome adversity. What if Michael Jordan had made the varsity team instead of the JV team during his sophomore year in high school? Would he have worked as hard to be the best? If not, would we have lost something?

Inspiration is everywhere. No matter where you look, you can see inspiration…even if you have to shift your thinking just a little bit.

Everything Is PossibleSome people ride mass transit because they have to. Some people ride mass transit for convenience and others ride mass transit for environmental reasons. There are always some types of ads or banners near the ceilings, trying to occupy riders minds, and gain some type of marketing advantage. In this picture, we see that “Everything Is Possible.” What a great message. Hopefully this idea will spark the mind that will change the world for the better.

When I was younger, growing up in Philadelphia, PA, the Amtrak had messages to fill space that advertisers did not buy. These were poems by famous people, and the campaign was called Poetry In Motion…clever. I am glad to see the inspirational messages though…now dubbed Text In Transit.

There are countless books, DVD’s, etc that all claim to teach you how to be a better you. Where you look, the message is there. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

In sports, inspiration and motivation are HUGE. Tim Tebow has been called one of the best College Football players to ever lace up a pair of cleats. Timmy plays for the Florida gators, and I MIGHT be a little biased in my opinion of him having seen him play in person during my time at UF in grad school.Tim Tebow Eye Black John 3:16 Tim was the first Sophomore to ever win the Heisman Trophy, and has also won 2 National Championships. Tim has a good chance to win a third, quarterbacking the first ranked Gators, with a big test this coming week under the lights in Baton Rouge, LA in a HUGE SEC matchup with LSU. Anyway, where does Tim Tebow find inspiration? Tim looks to an old book with some great motivational messages…The Bible. Tim consistently uses the “Real Estate” under his eyes to help spread the word. His two most often used scriptures are John 3:16 and Philippians 4:13. I urge you to look these up and get the messages for yourself…very inspirational.
