Sonoma County Mortgage Rates Stay Below 5.00%
October 14th, 2009 categories: Mortgage Rates
Sonoma County Mortgage Rates stay below 5.00%. I know this is not Friday, and this is not the weekly mortgage rate update, however this is big news. So…let me repeat… Sonoma County Mortgage Rates stay below 5.00%.
Freddie Mac’s weekly report showed that mortgage rates were 4.87%, down from 4.94% last week. This is the lowest rate since May, 2009.
As the stock market is improving, and gold is well above $1,000 an ounce, we do not think rates will stay at these levels very long. If you are interested in locking in a rate, or purchasing a home, this opportunity may be gone soon.
When Sonoma County Interest Rates get this low, more buyers move in. Cash buyers are already here, and when the rates drop, buyers who rely on financing come into play. Currently, there is a lot of competition for entry and mid level priced homes, and we expect this to only increase as rates stay at these levels. This is not a bad thing…it only goes to prove how great of an opportunity this really is.
We just wanted to keep you up to date with the latest news, and as new information becomes available, we will certainly keep you up to date.
