This warning is for real. The $8,000 Home Buyer Tax Credit will end soon. How soon you ask? The official deadline is to CLOSE a home before December 1, 2009. Yes…look at the date today…it is November 1st, 2009, so time is running out.
This tax credit is available for all buyers who fit the criteria set up by the United States Government. Qualified buyers can buy foreclosures, short sales, and traditionally sold homes and still expect to receive the credit, IF they close on time and meet the criteria.
